Our goals for this series were to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>develop both mathematical and pedagogical content knowledge<\/li>\n<li>inspire the use of instructional strategies<\/li>\n<li>build communities of learners<\/li>\n<li>explore current research, mindsets and philosophies of math education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p>TEAMS is planning another virtual session for January 22, 2024. Do you or your students like music?\u00a0 Think it might help to engage some of them in math?\u00a0 Join us for a virtual <strong>MathBeat<\/strong> session, presented by Shaun Elder, of the Royal Conservatory of Music, on <em>Monday, January 22, 2024, at 6:30 pm<\/em>.\u00a0 It is no cost for OAME members or teacher candidates, and is $10 for non-OAME members. Register will be through <a href=\"https:\/\/oame.on.ca\/mcis\/index.php\">MCIS<\/a>.\u00a0 We are also considering follow up sessions for those who try it out and want to use it even more
