Each year, TEAMS holds a mini-conference for elementary and secondary teachers in Toronto, where educators can come together to learn and explore a variety of mathematical topics in education.
TEAMS will be hosting its 2024 annual conference on February 29, 2024, beginning at 4:30 pm. It will be held at Senator O’Connor CHS in Toronto. We will begin with a keynote address by Anthony Meli from the Toronto DSB , and Paul Alves, from the Peel DSB. The program follows with dinner, exhibitors and a breakout workshop. Sessions will be available for math educators from K to 12. The cost is $25 for OAME members, and $35 for non-members. We offer special pricing of $15 for teacher candidates and ECEs. Registration will be available through MCIS.
Previously, the mini-conference was held locally in Toronto, comprising of either a Keynote Speaker and a Workshop OR two workshops that encompassed the theme for that year.
