Dear colleagues,

Plans are well under way for the fall ISOMA conference being held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011.  We are hoping that you set aside time to attend the conference.  We also hope you will consider sharing your expertise with other CIS mathematics teachers by presenting at the conference.  Please see ISOMA Fall Conference 2011 which outlines the theme of the conference and details on how to submit your presentation proposal.

Next year’s ISOMA Fall Conference will be hosted by Appleby College in Oakville on Tuesday, November 1st, 2011.  The format of the conference will be similar to past conferences with 2 sessions, dinner and a keynote speaker.  Further details (session details, registration information) will be posted in September 2011.

The ISOMA Chapter Rep will be attending the OAME Board meeting on October 22nd and October 23rd.  Plans include updating the website and discussing current issues facing all math teachers.

The conference will be held on Thursday, November 4th at Royal St. George’s College.  The evening will include 2 sessions and a keynote speaker (Professor Ed Jernigan) during dinner.
